MANDALAY DIVISION – As the terrorist army’s column entered the village of Thonsepay, in Madaya township of Mandalay division, which was controlled by revolutionary forces, clashes broke out with the coalition forces, and the terrorist army used airplanes and heavy weapons. Locals initially reported that 5 people died due to shooting with large weapons and 4 people were injured.
On September 21st, at 2 o’clock in the morning, the junta council’s column entered the village of Thonsepay. A local resident said that after a skirmish took place, they fired heavy weapons from the Junta Council troops stationed in Madaya, Paukwae village and Shwe Chaung village, the Min Kun Police Station in Sagaing township into the village of Thonsepay and the nearby villages, and that they also carried out two airstrikes around 8:00 a.m.
“They have been trying to regain control over the western part of Madaya for a long time. Now, that is why they are forming and attacking by a column. They have been shooting with heavy weapons for almost a week,” said a local man.
It is known that 5 people were killed and 4 injured in the village of Thonsepay due to the junta council army firing weapons, and the details of the victims are not yet known.
At present, the junta council has cut all lines of communication in the areas of Sintgu and Madayar, which are under the control of the revolutionary forces.
In addition, it is reported that the military council troops are torching the surrounding villages and areas, causing local residents to flee to safety.
In the past week, there have been explosions in the villages due to the daily firing of heavy weapons by the junta council’s army in the western part of Madaya township, and 2 women from Hlaing Gyun village have been killed.
