Comrade Phaerel deserted the junta police force and joined CDM (Civilian Disobedience Movement) on March 3, 2024 then joined BPDF and dutifully carried out his role.
BPDF honoured the fallen comrade as a hero who sacrificed his life while bravely fighting for the country and the people
A Karenni military source informed that the revolutionary forces are attacking Wanmalan camp of the junta council, one of the two remaining junta camps in Bawlakhae.
The Karenni Coalition captured three important camps of the junta council in Bawlakhae Township namely the Maesalaung Taung Camp, Yaykyaw Camp and Htoochaung Camp starting mid 2024.
Meanwhile, the junta council is desperately defending the two remaining camps: 12th mile camp and Wanmalan camp, heavily relying on airstrikes.
