SAGAING DIVISION – Butalin Township It was reported that a CDM school teacher and her disabled brother were arrested by the junta council, and her brother was killed.
A resident said that a CDM school teacher from Kan Tha village in Budalin township was arrested by the junta council on the morning of September 19th, along with her brother.
“He was arrested on the way from the village to the city. Not long after he was arrested, his (school teacher’s brother’s) body was found on the side of the road. We still don’t know where the teacher was arrested,” said a Budalin resident.
It has been reported that the victim was a 20-year-old man named Ko Han Tint, who is disabled in one leg. Residents and family members are worried about the arrested school teacher.
There is a battle going on in the city of Budalin today, and the residents said that the junta council committed aerial bombardment and did not yet know the details of the site.
