SHAN STATE (NORTH) – Atrocious junta council shelled Nawnghkio and Namhsan towns on Monday (October 21) using a fighter jet resulting in the injury of a civilian, Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) reported.
The junta army bombarded Thapyay Ward of Nawnghkio Town at about 1:10 a.m. on October 21. Two 200-pound bombs and six other bombs were dropped using a fighter jet. Mr. Gokanat’s house and some shops in Pahat Ward were destroyed, and the explosion injured a civilian.
Similarly, the fascist army bombarded Kyauk Phyu Lay village with jet fighters at 8:30 a.m. on October 21 without having any military activities. The bombs exploded inside a monastery and damaged some buildings.
In the early morning of October 19, the military council army bombarded two times with fighter jets, killing 4 civilians and injuring 3 others. TNLA also reported that 4 residents were injured in an airstrike by the terrorist council in Nawnghkio Town on the Thadingyut full moon night.
