BAGO DIVISION- Mr. Myint Kyi, who has been informing the junta army and the police and forcing the locals of Natalin Township to be arrested and tortured without any apparent reason, was reportedly shot and killed last Sunday(October 6).
On October 6, around 9:15 a.m., Mr. Myint Kyi, residing at Taung Nyo Myothit Aung Yadanar Ward, Nyaung Hla village, Natalin Township, working as the junta informant in the guise of a motorcycle courier, was arrested by the Tharawadday District Battalion – 3801, Division-2 (Phoenix Defense Force). It is reported that he died while being chased and shot as he resisted and fought back.
The deceased, Mr. Myit Kyi, was allowed to travel (any time) with the terrorist junta troops and had ransacked and threatened the farmers and locals by giving false information that they were cooperating with the PDF.
“When he was chased by our comrades. He tried to fight back and thus shot dead. Those locals working in the fields and woods were accused of supporting the PDF and got arrested by the junta troops. He has been making false reports and getting information on PDF forces under disguise (as a motorcycle courier) for a long time,” said a PDF official from Thayarwaddy District.
