MANDALAY DIVISION – An official of the Kyaukse township Revolutionary Army KRA said that a member of the militia who was returning from clearing the mines on the road where the junta council’s convoy would pass in Kyaukse township was shot and killed.
At around 12:00 noon on August 3rd, Aung Myaing, a member of the militia under the terrorist army, who was returning from clearing the road where the junta council’s convoy from Kyaukse to Tada Oo would pass, was shot and killed on the spot while returning to his home in Pottai village.
Aung Myaing, a member of the militia under the terrorist army who died was a retired lieutenant warrant officer, and was appointed as informer in militia for terrorist army.
“That dog was a retired lieutenant warrant officer. Now the junta army called him and he worked as a strong man in the militia. He came alone to check out the mines in Kyaukse – Tada Oo road, which junta council’s convoy going to pass. He came on foot as point. The convoy has passed for Tada Oo, and we, allied forces cleared him on his return to his home. He died on the spot. As we will do what needs to be done, we would like to appeal to the people to remain united. What I want to say to the junta supporters is that our People’s Defense Forces are crouching like their shadows,” said an official from Kyaukse Revolutionary Army (KRA) in Kyaukse township.
The attack was carried out jointly by KRA, Kyaukse KDDF, and Kyaukse Daungmin Nyinaung Guerrilla Force.
