REPUBLIC OF KOREA – A rally to protest against the Chinese government who keeps interfering in the internal affairs of Myanmar was held in South Korea on November 24.
It is said that Myanmar nationals in South Korea gathered and marched from Seoul Station to the Chinese Embassy in Seoul from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Korean time to protest against the Chinese government. The protest was jointly organised by MFDMC, Spring Revolution Strike Force, Myanmar nationals in South Korea and Korean political and religious organisations supporting democracy in Myanmar with over 200 attendees.
In addition, the protestors protested in front of the Chinese Embassy from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. and delivered open letters to the embassy which included the opinions and demands of the Myanmar nationals in South Korea as well as the strike leaders and Myanmar citizens in Myanmar.
