SHAN STATE – Lashio local residents reported that the military junta bombed Lashio which is under the control of MNDAA, damaging a school and some houses.
It is reported that around 8:25 p.m. on August 30, bombs were dropped twice on Lashio. The bombs hit No. 8 Basic Education High School building and some houses were damaged, but there were no casualties.
“Bombs were dropped last night, and there were explosions with flames. I heard that no one was injured and there is still one bomb that hasn’t exploded yet,” said a citizen journalist from Lashio.
MNDAA took control of junta’s Eastern Command Headquarter in Lashio on August 3 and nearly a month later, the military junta launched airstrikes.
