MYANMAR – No (2) Military Region reported that a total of 109 terrorist junta soldiers were killed during the fighting in 20 townships in September in Bago Division and Mon Sate, active areas of the troops under command of No (2) Sub-Military Region, Southern Military Region, People’s Defence Force.
There were 15 skirmishes between the Revolutionary Forces and the terrorist junta army, two camps capturing battles, three drone strikes, two artillery attacks, two times of eliminating junta’s supporters, in the No (2) Military Region of Southern Military Region, from September 1 to 20, and a total of 109 terrorist junta soldiers were killed, while 61 others were injured.
In addition, many heavy weapons, light weapons, ammunition, military equipment, and rations were reportedly seized from the terrorist junta army.
The operations were carried out by Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA), No (2) Sub-Military Region, battalions under People’s Defence Forces (PDFs) and allied Revolutionary Forces under Joint Operations Command (JOC) by Southern Military Region. It was reported that 11 Revolutionary Comrades had sacrificed their lives for the Federal Democratic Union, and 15 others were injured.
In September, four civilians were killed and 22 were injured by the junta’s airstrike and artillery attacks.
