SHAN STATE – Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) reported that a total of 17 civilians were killed by junta’s airstrike and artillery attacks from August 1 to 24, in Hsipaw Town of Shan (North) State.
It was reported that 17 civilians were killed and 57 were injured due to the terrorist junta’s targeted aerial bombing and artillery shelling on civilians’ areas, August 1 to 24.
On August 24, from 8:20 a.m., to 1:30 p.m., the atrocious junta army fired targeted six artillery shells on civilians’ areas, and it landed and exploded at Shwe Kyaung Ward in Hsipaw Town, killing a man over 60 years old on the spot with head off.
Moreover, a woman in her 50s, and a man in his 60s were seriously injured, and also a woman in the back of Shwe Kyaung was wounded.
