KAREN STATE – The Supreme Headquarters of Karen National Union (KNU) reported that a total of 20 terrorist junta soldiers were killed during 15 days of fighting in KNU Brigade 5 territory of Mutraw District.
From August 1 to 15, a total of 57 clashes occurred between Brigade 5 of Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and the terrorist junta army.
During the clashes, a total of 20 fascist junta soldiers were killed and four others were injured. But, there were no casualties on the side of KNLA and its allied Revolutionary Forces.
The terrorist junta army carried out air strikes and delivered rations via air during the fights and a civilian and a cow were injured by five artillery attacks of the junta council.
