MYANMAR – The Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) reported that a total of 5,666 people had been murdered by the atrocious junta forces across Myanmar, after the bloody coup d’état in Myanmar, from 1 February 2021 to 18 September 2024.
It has been reported that 27,398 people were abducted and detained, among them 20,908 abductees are currently under detention and 9,423 out of them have been sentenced, according to the data compiled by AAPP from 1 February 2021 to 18 September 2024.
The reported figures were compiled by AAPP within their range and the actual data on the ground are likely to be higher. It was said that if more data is collected, it will be added further.
