BAGO DIVISION – It was reported that seven junta forces were killed in an attack on Thar Yar Kone police station in Letpadan Township, according to an official of People’s Defence Force (PDF), Thayarwady District.
On November 22, at around 5:00 a.m., the Revolutionary Forces started their offensive on Thar Yar Kone police station in Hmaw Inn Village Tract of Letpadan Township.
The encounter lasted for more than three hours, and at least seven policemen, junta soldiers, and Pyu Saw Htee thugs were killed and many others were injured. Two comrades from the Revolutionary Forces were injured, and they retreated from the battleground due to the junta’s artillery attacks.
“The junta dogs (military soldiers) were injured in the encounter and went on a rampage. At least seven, including junta dogs, police dogs, and Pyu dogs, were killed in the encounter. There were also many injured,” said an official of Thayarwady District PDF.
The attack was carried out jointly by the Thayarwady Garuda Force, Shwe Dan Myay People’s Defense Force, Battalion 3802-Company (2), Company (3) and Battalion 3803.
