MYANMAR – The Association for the Assistance of Political Prisoners (AAPP) has announced that the terrorist army has been killing civilians from February 2021 to December 16, 2024, and the total number of fallen reached 6056 people, which AAPP recorded in detail.
According to AAPP, 6056 people who died were confirmed with their names, and among those who died, 1315 were women and 685 were children. In addition to this, AAPP also informed that there are about 2,750 deaths that still need to be confirmed.
According to the archives of the Association for the Assistance of Political Prisoners (AAPP) from February 1st, 2021 to December 16th, 2024, a total of 27,888 people were arrested and detained, of which 2,1318 are still being detained, and 9,694 the detained have been sentenced to their prison terms.
170 of those unfairly judged were sentenced to death, including 126 sentenced to death in prison and 44 sentenced to death in absentia.
