SAGAING DIVISION – Anthelmintic drugs were said to have been treated to the internally displaced babies and children in Kani Township as commemoration of Martyr’s Day on July 19, as said by Mr. Pyae Aung Naing (Kani), a responsible person of Kani Township Spring Revolution Strike Force.
224 babies and children, between 2 years and 8 years of age from two villages in Kani Township were reportedly treated anthelmintic drugs on July 18 and 19.
“Today and the day before today, on July 18 and 19, the CDM healthcare staff from our team and local people cooperated to treat anthelmintic drugs. The place where the children were treated anthelmintic drugs was very far from where we live,” said Mr. Pyae Aung Naing (Kani).
The Kani Township Spring Revolution Strike Force have previously treated anthelmintic drugs to 2055 babies and children from 31 villages from June to July 1.
