MAGWAY DIVISION – The representative of Burma Revolution Rangers Force, Bo. Cartoon, reported that at least four junta soldiers were killed when junta Division 101 in Pakokku was attacked with shock missiles.
Two shock missiles were fired into junta Division 101 base in Pakokku on November 30, and the missiles hit the arsenal of Light Infantry 252, a battalion under the Division. The resulting explosion is said to have killed at least four junta troops and injured many.
“We originally planned to fire six missiles but had to return after firing only two due to a product error. But both missiles hit a great target. We would have been happy no matter which compound in Division 101 was hit. Light infantry 251, 252, and 235 are all in there, close to each other. They are all in Division 101. They also returned fire with two 80mm shells,” said Bo. Cartoon.
The attack was jointly conducted by the Burma Revolution Rangers, the Royal Defence Force – the Sanaymin Guerrilla Force – Myaing, and Chauk Guerrilla Force. It is said that the defence forces were able to return unharmed. On that night after the attack, junta soldiers from Division 101 reportedly ordered the residents of Latpankan Village, to the north of their base, to leave the village, then set up hidden sentries to the north of the village. Moreover, around 30 terrorist junta soldiers are said to have entered Chauk Kan (West) Village in a car.
