MAGWAY DIVISION – The attack on junta soldiers guarding the water generator and Kaing Daw Ma police outpost in Myaing Township killed at least three junta soldiers, reported a comrade in charge of Earthquake People Defense Force.
On August 3, around 6:00 a.m., the police station, water generator, school, hospital and guard posts in Kaing Daw Ma Village were attacked at the same time and all of the places except the police station were captured. While trying to conquer the police station, the defence forces had to retreat as two comrades fell and seven were injured.
“Two comrades were shot from the bunker while trying to get the armory. So, we could not conquer the armory and we also could not get our comrades’ bodies. We had to retreat because of Mi35 and reinforcement from Industry 2,” reported Ashaegyi, the comrade in charge of Earthquake People Defense Force.
The reported battle lasted from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and again from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Two junta soldiers and one police were killed and some heavy artillery ammunition and some military equipment was able to be seized.
The two comrades who gave up their lives while bravely fighting the junta forces for the future federal democratic union were Mahout, 17 years old from People’s Democratic Army (PDA) and G Shock, 23 years old from Anyar Myay Coalition.
That attack was performed by the cooperation between PDA, PRF, SRF, PLA (No. 815 team Northwest Military Region), Pakokku coalition made up of Young force, PPDF, Thu Rain, Hunter Pakokku and Earthquake, Anyar Myay Coalition, Myaing Township People’s Defence Organisation and Myaing Coalition Battalion.
