SAGAING DIVISION – An official from Wolf Guerrilla LDF (Ye U) said that the terrorist junta forces stationed at Ye U Traditional Hospital were attacked with heavy weapons, possibly killing two junta forces.
On August 9 around 10:30 p.m., Wolf Guerrilla LDF (Ye U) forces led by Bo. Yotekasoe attacked the terrorist junta soldiers stationed at the hospital using heavy weapons.
During the attack, one of the weapons landed and exploded on the top floor of the four storey building where junta officers reside. It is expected that two junta soldiers were killed in the attack. In addition, the terrorist junta forces fired back three 120mm shells and returned fire using 0.5 machine guns but the revolutionary forces were able to draw back unharmed.
The official from Wolf Guerrilla LDF (Ye U) shared that the around 60 junta forces stationed at Ye U Traditional Hospital have been recklessly shelling the villages around the village with 120mm and 81mm shells since around three days ago.
After that, a Mi-35 helicopter from Monywa Northwest Command and a Mi-17 helicopter from Shwebo Training Regiment 8 landed at Ye U Traditional Hospital around 8:30 a.m. on August 10 then the Mi-35 flew towards southern Ye U.
