BAGO DIVISION – An official from Military Sub-Region 2, PDF Southern Military Region that there was a clash at Pazunmyaung Village in Nyaunglebin Township which resulted in the death of one junta soldier and eight including Deputy Battalion Commander Phyo Arkar Kyaw were injured.
Terrorist junta soldiers from light infantry battalion 350 stationed at the monastery in Pazunmyaung Village and PDF Battalion 3703 under Military Sub-Region 2, PDF Southern Military Region engaged in a clash on September 14. The battle reportedly lasted over four houses in which a junta soldier was killed and eight including the deputy battalion commander of light infantry battalion 350 were injured.
It is said that junta deputy battalion commander Phyo Arkar Kyaw had to have his leg amputated as the wound in his knees received during the battle was serious. The official from Military Sub-Region 2, PDF Southern Military Region said that the terrorist junta column stationed at Pazunmyaung Village would frequently detain a d torture civilians for no reason, break into and steal from civilian houses and also destroy the houses.
