MANDALAY DIVISION – The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) said that a battle broke out while they were sweeping the area in Mogok Township, resulting in the capture of two Prisoner of War (POWs) and six weapons were seized.
At around 5 p.m. on July 28 while TNLA was conducting clearance operation in Mogok, they clashed against several junta forces. Two POWs were captured and six rifles, grenades, RPG and submachine guns were confiscated from them.
TNLA also battled the junta forces from infantry battalion 348 under junta military operations command (MOC) 21 at the Mogok Strategic Base at around 7:30 a.m. on the same day.
Battles also broke out in the evening against junta infantry 276 in Mongmit and against junta infantry 223 at Nyaungpinsauk Outpost at around 5:20 p.m.
Similarly in Kyaukme, there were battles against junta light infantry 501 and 502 under MOC 1 at Lwalkhun Hill and Tower Tai Camp at around 7:45 a.m.
