SHAN STATE – Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) reported that there have been ongoing battles between the terrorist army troops which came to reinforce its strength in Nawnghkio Township.
The clash broke out on August 22 between TNLA and the junta council’s battalion 453.
The battles occurred at about 3:20 p.m. at terrorist army’s battalion 902 military camp in Taunghkam Village, another clash with battalion 453 at 5:46 p.m. and in the monastery at about 2:15 p.m.
The fascist army bombarded using a Y-12 lane during the battle in Taunghkam Village, attacking junta’s battalion 902 military camp.
The TNLA said that the battle broke out as the terrorist junta army was trying to replenish the military forces from Yatsauk Town into the Nawnghkio Township.
