KAREN STATE: The military information source informed that the atrocious junta’s council had used Kamikaze drone to drop bomb to the military headquarter of Karen National Union- KNU in KNU Brigade (7) region in Karen state on the morning of October 22.
The atrocious junta’s council used big Kamikaze drones to drop bombs to Thaybayhta camp where the military headquarter of Karen National Union- KNU and Karen National Liberation Army- KNLA around 10 a.m. on October 22. Currently, a civilian got wounded and was in critical condition. Some buildings were also destroyed and the rumours of more drones and airplanes coming caused the closure of schools and temporary shut down of some office works.
The military information source assured that Brigade (7) has never been attacked like this before and this is the first time attack. The situation shows the more intense military tension.
Since Swetaw hill artillery tactical camp by the junta’s council was attacked by the revolutionary forces led by KNLA on October 18, the military tension between the junta’s forces and KNLA was known to have been escalated.
