YANGON DIVISION – Companies and businesses in Yangon region are being forced to donate money to support junta soldiers on the front line.
In order to encourage soldiers on the current front lines across the country, including the northern Shan State, junta Ministries and Regional military council groups were ordered by the junta council to provide food, medicine and items for daily use monthly. It is known that each company and business were told to make donations of 300,000 Kyats to provide that monthly support for front-line terrorist soldiers as a result.
“We were called by the regional government. The businesses that applied for tenders were called and asked to donate to support the soldiers on the front line. We can’t transfer by Kpay or Wave money. They asked to personally come to the office to hand over 3,00,000 cash,” said a business source.
The terrorist junta council is displaying the photos and videos of ministries and donors sending food and consumer goods to soldiers on the front line as a psychological warfare. The videos were published on the junta council’s propaganda news media and TV channels.
