SAGAING DIVISION – An official from Anyar Mine Team, a company of BLDF reported that they attacked the cargo trucks transporting copper and junta convoy that came out of Wanbao Company in Monywa and headed towards Sagaing.
Revolutionary forces detonated mines against the convoy of over 60 trucks and four iron plate reinforced junta vehicles around 10 a.m. on December 19.
During the attack, one of the trucks was hit in the front and crashed in Chaung U but it is not clear if there were any junta casualties.
Then at 11:45 a.m., the convoy was attacked again near Allarkapa Village on the Mandalay-Monywa Road, targeting a truck that was separated from the convoy.
Although the junta forces recklessly fired back during the attack, revolutionary forces were able to return unharmed.
The attack was carried out by the allied forces, BLDF company Anyar Mine Team and Daung Bayin Team.
