CHIN STATE – The Chin Revolutionary Forces reportedly occupied Rihkhawdar Town of Falam Township on the India – Myanmar border, and they had taken down the junta council’s flag and raised thr Chin National Flag, according to the news source of Chin National Army (CNA).
On the morning of November 13, the Chin Revolutionary Forces attacked and seized the junta council’s Tio and Rih outposts, based in Rihkhawdar Town on the India – Myanmar border, then captured Rihkhawdar Town. On the morning of November 14, the junta flag that was raised on the India – Myanmar border was taken down and unfurled the Chin National Flag, according to the CNA’s source.
Rihkhawdar Town is located at 2,580 feet above sea level in Falam District of northern Chin State, and is located on the main trade route between Myanmar and India. It is a small town located on the border between India’s Mizoram State and Myanmar’s Chin State, the Rih Lake (Rih Dil) is also the signature landmark of Rihkhawdar Town.
