SHAN STATE – Lashio F.Y.O social volunteer group provided rations and household accessories to displaced people in Lashio Township and Hsenwi Township, according to Lashio restoration team.
The team announced that they provided the items to Mansu Shan Monastery in Zone 19, Ward 12 of Lashio and Oakphoe Village in Tarpon Village Tract of Hsenwi District on October 10.
Rations worth 60,000 Kyats were provided to each of the 850 households of displaced people at the Mansu Shan Monastery at 8 a.m. on October 10 and similar items were provided to 60 households affected by conflicts in Oakphoe Village around 1 p.m. later that day.
A displaced person commented that it was a happy occasion to receive those items as they had to flee with just the clothes on their backs. Lashio F.Y.O group also said that they will continue to provide similar aids.
