SHAN STATE – The Danu People’s Liberation Army (DPLA) has reported that they provided rice to the residents of Nawnghkio Town, which is occupied and controlled by Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and allied Revolutionary Forces.
The DPLA announced that they distributed rice to the displaced people of Nawnghkio who returned to their homes, on July 19, as humanitarian assistance.
Dhanu People’s Liberation Front / Army (DPLF/DPLA) is a People’s Defense Force from the Danu Self-Administered Zone in Shan (South) State.
DPLA has fought against the terrorist junta by collaborating with TNLA in the first and second part of Operations 1027.
“We are proud to be doing this for the benefit of the people because it is a force that was formed to overthrow the terrorist junta. I am happy to see that people are working for the benefit of the people, not just from Danu land, but anywhere in Myanmar. As Danu people, we need to give more support to the revolution,” said a Danu native.
