MYANMAR – An official of Khayan People’s Defence Force (PDF) reported that there could be casualties among junta troops when they used drones to bomb the junta terrorists at phayapyo Village in Khayan Township, Yangon Division.
High grade grenades were dropped via drones on the junta forces stationed at Mya Thein Tan Monastery in Phayapyo Village around 6:40 p.m. on December 2 and the grenades reportedly effectively landed on the targets.
“We attacked the junta troops stationed at Mya Thein Tan Monastery in Phayapyo (Village) with high grade grenades, using drones. The attack was effective as the grenade landed on the place where junta dogs (junta forces) were gathered. All members of Khayan PDF were able to return successfully,” said the Khayan PDF official.
According to residents of Khayan, an ambulance from Khayan General Hospital was seen driving towards Phayapyo after the attack.
There were at least three junta casualties when four junta stations in Thonekwa Town, Khayan were attacked recently on November 30.
Similarly in Mon State, the immigration office in Mawlamyaing was bombed by drones at past 7 p.m. on December 2. It is said that junta terrorists set up blockades and conducted searches in the city after the attack and were also seen patrolling in civilian cars.
“Mawlamyaing Immigration Office was bombed by drones. It happened after 7 p.m. tonight (December 2). There are military and civilian cars going all over the city now. The electricity is out as well and it’s eerily silent. The explosion from the bomb was deafingly loud,” described a resident.
