KARENNI STATE – The entire junta Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 430, numbering around 100 forces, from Mese tactical stronghold (PB 13) in Karenni State surrendered to the revolutionary forces, according to the information from the revolutionary news sources.
A local revolutionary medias described that the entire junta LIB-430, including Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Zarni Aung and Second in Command Major Kyaw Thu Soe, have submitted to the revolutionary forces. This news was also confirmed separately to be true.
“The news is true. But we could not reveal more about related information. We don’t have any rights to declare. Please wait until the official announcement from the related officials,” the revolutionary news source said.
Based on other news sources reporting on the surrender of the entire LIB-430, it happened batch by batch, with some forces from outside of the camp led by the Commanding Officer and Second in Command surrendering as the first batch and the remaining forces from the camp as second batch. In the stated case, over 100 weapons and heavy artillery were said to be seized.
