SAGAING DIVISION – It was reported from local residents that a civilian was killed after stepping on a mine planted by the terrorist army near the intersection of the station in the Nan Oo Thida Ward, Kalay town on August 14.
The victim is 39-year-old Mr. Lwin Lan Tam, the father of 3 children. Local residents said that both legs were amputated by the mine and he died with those injuries.
“The body of the Mr. Lwin Lan Tam, 39 years old, was taken away by junta soldiers and police in an ambulance,” a local resident said.
Terrorist soldiers often move around the place where the mine exploded. The terrorist army usually uses these anti-personnel mines. The revolutionary forces warn the public to stay away from the junta army and not to pick up and touch any suspicious items or packages if found.
