CHIN STATE – Chin Defense Force (CDF)-CDM Siyin, based in Tedim, has announced that the Kalay-Taingen Road in the Sagain – Chin border is to not be used at all starting Friday (July 14).
An appeal was issued on Friday not to use the Kalay-Taingen Road after the Chin Allied Forces attacked the Taingen Military Council camp in Tedim Township, Chin State on July 11.
It has also been informed that updates regarding the use of Kalay-Taingen Road, which is the main road in northern Chin State and Kale, will be notified.
Regarding the military situation in the region, the CDF-CDM Siyin Force has been contacted but has not yet replied.
On July 11, in the raid on the Taingen camp, the military council side suffered many casualties and four soldiers from the Chin allied force also fell in battle. A Chin National Defense Force (CNDF) official said that 1 gun and more than 700 rounds of ammunition were seized from the military council.
