SHAN STATE (NORTH) – The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) issued a statement on Saturday (October 28), warning the junta council troops and militia armed forces in Kokang region to surrender.
It was mentioned in the statement that the soldiers and policemen who are puppet members of junta armed forces in Kokang were given a warning to surrender and defected under the MNTJP/MNDAA, where they will get a guarantee for their lives and property, and that MNDAA will take severe action if they continue to be stubborn and oppose.
The policy of ‘taking care of Prisoners of War’ also applies to all members of the junta council, and if they surrender and come to defect under the MNDAA, they can enjoy the prisoner of war policy to the full extent, the injuries will also be given treatment if they had one, and the soldiers of the junta council, militia thugs police and administrative staff are all welcomed if they come to the MNTJP/MNDAA to confess their guilt in their own conscience, mentioned MNDAA in the statement.
It was also stated that MNTJP/MNDAA will deal with the crimes with sympathy, and the warning announcement letter will be in force from the date of publication until the end of the military rule period.
MNDAA also warned the administrative and departmental staff in Kokang to take extra care in maintaining the documents related to their duties, photographs, statistics, vouchers and money. If the above-mentioned items are intentionally destroyed, severe action will be taken, and if they were damaged while being kept, actions for irresponsibility will be taken after the battles.
According to the statement, the assistant, accountant, bodyguard and family members must report the warranted criminals to MNTJP/MNDAA, and hiding or protecting the criminals to help them escape will be given severe punishments.
