KARENNI STATE – The handicrafts created by the students of Kayphodu Training School in Hpruso Township are being sold to get funds.
The trainees of the above school are selling their handicrafts for up to MMKS 15,000 each to raise funds during the present difficult time.
The handicrafts sold are traditional Kayah shoulder bags, Kayah traditional clothes, Paline (bamboo baskets which can be carried on the backs), trays etc.
The aforementioned training school gives priority to the youths who have the opportunity for training and not to get their lives wasted as told by one official in charge of the school.
