BAGO DIVISION – The junta council carried out airstrikes at Nat Thankwin Town, Kyaukgyi Township, on Tuesday (December 5), killing one civilian and injuring four others.
The clashes intensified between revolutionary forces and junta forces, leading the junta council to carry out airstrikes at Nat Thankwin Downtown, Yay Twin Kone Gyi Village, Yay Twin Kone Lay Village, and Yay Le Village.
These attacks killed one civilian and wounded four others. The junta council sent reinforcements with four vehicles, stationing them at Sein Pan Monastery. The comrades retreated to prevent further civilian casualties.
“The junta council carried out airstrikes at Nat Thankwin, killing one civilian and injuring four others. Four junta vehicles came as reinforcement due to massive casualties. The fascist junta carried out airstrikes at the town without apparent reason. The comrades had already captured the town but retreated for the safety of civilians, and the junta council also carried out airstrikes,” said a resident.
Currently, the junta council is recklessly firing heavy artillery shells at Nat Thankwin Town, and the comrades request civilians to flee.
