SAGAING DIVISION – Two junta fighter jets continuously carried out airstrikes near Laik Sin Hill Village, west of Thapan Dam, in Kyun Hla Township on Tuesday (December 12).
Starting at 12:30 a.m., a junta fighter jet from Tada U airport initiated airstrikes near Laik Sin Hill Village, which comprises around 300 houses. Subsequently, another fighter jet dropped bombs at 8:50 a.m., according to the residents.
“At midnight, the junta council conducted airstrikes near the village, and now they have dropped bombs four times. We are preparing to flee as we don’t dare to live in the village,” said a resident.
The casualties from the junta airstrikes remain unknown. On November 25, a junta Mi-35 gunship also fired near Laik Sin Hill Village, resulting in the destruction of the roofs of ten civilians’ houses.
