SAGAING DIVISION – The terrorist junta soldiers reportedly launched unprovoked artillery attacks on Te Su Village of Khin-U Township, killing a civilian and injuring nine people, according to locals.
That junta column departed from Myin Daung Village at 4:00 a.m., on June 24, after they spent four nights at the monastery in the village.
Afterwards, they launched unprovoked artillery attacks on Te Su Village and the artillery landed among the civilians in the village three times, according to a local.
More than nine people were injured by the junta’s artillery attacks, and Ms. Moe Swe, in her 45’s, lost her life.
A resident said that the terrorist junta column crossed the Kar Boe ridge from Te Su Village and the frontline patrol left by heading towards Myit Taw – Inn Taing Gyi, and invaded Myit Taw Village and continuously opened fire in the village.
It was reported that over 4,000 of locals from the villages such as Te Su, Myit Taw, Kan Thit, Gway Kone, Inn Taing Gyi had been forced to flee from their homes due to the raidings and attacks.
