SAGAING DIVISION – The revolutionary forces battled against the combined column of terrorist junta soldiers and Wathawa (infamous Pyu Saw Htee leader) led militants to the east of Monhla Village in Khin U Township at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday (March 28).
The around 130 strong terrorist Wathawa column that spent three nights at Pyinhtaung Village was intercepted and attacked by Shwebo District Battalion 3, Khin U Township People’s Defence Team (PDT) and People’s Security Force (PSF) as they arrived at the east of Monhla Village after passing Tarwuhtti Village.
The clash lasted around 30 minutes and the revolutionary forces had to retreat after two revolutionary soldiers were injured in the exchange of fire, according to a member of the revolutionary forces.
