SAGAING DIVISION – The arsonist junta soldiers had reported stationed at Kan Thit Village in Khin-U Township, set fire to the village for two consecutive days, according to the locals.
On the morning of May 20, the fascist junta soldiers stationed at Kan Thit Village reportedly torched again the village, and were opening fire inside the village.
“The junta dogs (military soldiers) that intentionally set a light Kan Thit Village and stationed at the village on last night (May 19), burned down again the village on the morning of May 20. The junta dogs opened fire at Khway Gaung (Dog’ head) bridge. It was said that the village has been set on fire in two parts,” said a resident.
The junta column with over 100 of terrorist junta soldiers that leaving from Shwe Bo Township on the evening of May 19, deliberately burned and destroyed Kan Thit Village and stationed at the village. They committed arson raids again at the village on the morning of May 20.
At the present, more than 1,800 of the residents of nearby villages, Hnaw Kone, Mauk Pyae, Gway Kone and Myit Taw villages had been forced to leave their homes to save their lives.
