SAGAING DIVISION: An official of Khin Oo Township News and Information Group said that the military killed one civilian and burned down and destroyed seven houses in Ywar Thit village, Khin Oo, Sagaing Division.
Junta and Pu Saw Hti forces of around 100 entered Ywar Thit village, which has over 200 households in Khin Oo Township, for the second time at 5:30 A.M on June 1 and burned down and destroyed seven houses. A man in his 50s was abducted, fired at, and killed in Mu Thar village.
The junta forces stopped for the night in Mu Thar village on June 1, burned and destroyed one car, and abducted one male civilian as a hostage in Kyee Ai village in the morning of June 2. They have been staying overnight in Mayan Inn village and destroying public property in the village from June 2 to today, June 3, the official added.
It is known that more than 10,000 civilians from 12 villages—Ywar Thit, Inn Pat, Chan Thar Kone, Nyaung Pin Chan, Sae Gyi, Mayan Inn, Kone Tha, Thae Kone Gyi, Kyee Ai, Aung Thar, Inn Pauk and Mon Taw village in Khin Oo Township, Shwe Bo District—were fleeing due to the terrorist military troop raids since June 1.
“There are many war refugees right now. Local support is not enough, so we need more help for them. People can donate to our page,” the official mentioned.
The junta troops within Khin Oo Township joined forces with soldiers from Yay Oo and Inpat Kway and Pyu Saw Hti from Ywar Thit Kone village, with over 100 forces burned down and destroyed. The war refugees have to move to a safe area and need urgent emergency support.
