KAREN STATE – Free Burma Ranger team reportedly help the people fleeing from the war in Karen National Union (KNU) Brigade 6 territory, Kalal Takontaing Village Tract, Dupalaryar District, announced the KNU Headquarters on Thursday (July 27).
It is said that Free Burma Ranger (FBR) is traveling from one place to another to help the war refugees by providing medical treatment, cooking and donating nutritious meals, organizing Good Life Club (GLC) program for children, and encouraging them.
Free Burma Ranger team is said to be providing medical assistance, shelters for temporary accommodation, food, clothes, educational materials for children, and other humanitarian assistance.
Moreover, the FBR team also collects, organizes, and shares data on the junta council’s violations of human rights and oppression of civilians and calls for international attention on the Myanmar crisis.
Currently, due to the exchange of fire between the junta and KNU forces in Dupalaryar District, and the junta’s deliberate firing of heavy weapons into the villages, thousands of locals are forced to flee.
It was also informed that much assistance is needed for the displaced people to have rain-proof shelters, taverns, blankets, mosquito nets, food, and basic medicines as it is the rainy season.
