CHIN STATE- It is reported that the members of the Chin Defense Force (CDF-Kanpetlet), fighting against the military regime forces at the border of Magway and Chin State, requested ammunition urgently.
Kanpetlet Township is facing sky-rocketing commodity prices, almost three times higher than the original price due to transportation difficulties, and the most difficult thing is to reload the arms,” said the spokesperson of CDF’s -Kanpetlet information officer.
“Since it is the rainy season, it is challenging to transport food rations, and the most difficult thing is being unable to restock ammunition,” said the Chin Defense Force -Kanpetlet information officer.
As it is the rainy season, seasonal flu also breaks out, but the soldiers could hold up. However, there is still a great need for rain cover, stated the CDF spokesperson.
In order to cross Magway and enter Chin State on roads, it is mandatory to pass through Kanpelet town, so CDF members are appointed full-time around the town and also linked up with the Magway PDFs (in case of junta offensives), the CDF officer added.
“We also cooperated with the Magway-based PDF in some battles. The junta regime has not launched offensives yet, but since we are low on ammunition, we had to withdraw one column from Kyindwe town and another column from the border of Magway Division,” said the spokesperson.
Chin Defense Force-Kanpetlet urges the public to participate in a “Revolutionary Camera” campaign to replenish 5,000 rounds of ammunition.
