MAGWE DIVISION – Residents from Gangaw related that two political prisoners from police station, Gangaw, Yaw District were taken by car to the outskirts of the town and were killed in the afternoon of June 11.
“They had to cross the bridge towards Pyarywa where they shot the prisoners and left them. They left this morning with a military column. They are getting more violent,” said a resident from Gangaw.
One of the victims was from Khin Thar Ward, Gangaw and the other was from Zahaw Village. They were shot between Gangaw and Pyarywa and were cremated in Moekaung Cemetery without the knowledge of the family as per another local.
The two deceased were abducted by the atrocious junta troops for their political beliefs but it is not known with what article they were charged.
The terrorizing junta troops in Gangaw also abducted Mr Tin Thaung on April 22 who was killed at the same area after taking him from the prison cell of the police station, according to locals.
The atrocious military council is behaving in this way to frighten the citizens and as a psychological warfare according to one member of the revolutionary forces.
