SAGAING DIVISION – Burma National Revolutionary Army (BNRA) issued a statement saying that two Pyu Saw Htee militants from the junta council military base in Thee Lone Village where the combination of junta council troops and Pyu Saw Htee militants were stationed, entered the legal fold under BNRA along with their weapons and their family members, in Shwe Bo Township, Sagaing Division.
It has been reported that two Pyu Saw Htee militants from Thee Lone military camp along with 14 family members surrendered their weapons on the morning of December 23.
Two Pyu Saw Htee militants who have entered the legal fold are a 17-year-old man and a 20-year-old man. They handed over one G3 rifle, 150 bullets, two cartridges and one carbine rifle, 82 bullets and one cartridge to BNRA.
It was also mentioned in the statement that while they were living in the Pyu village, the fascist junta council troops compelled them to work for the junta council, bullied them, and forced them to fight after forcibly arming them. So, they brought their family members and fled.
The accountable person of BNRA awarded 100 lakhs MMK to those people who entered the legal fold for their livelihoods.
The alliance of BNRA, Shwe Bo Township People’s Defence Force, Bo Kyar Yine Force, Zero Guerilla Force and Meikhtila Drone Force jointly attacked the combination of the junta council troops and the Pyu Saw Htee militants stationed in Thee Lone Village, on November 26 and 27.
So, the combination of the junta council troops and Pyu Saw Htee militants retreated from Zeephyukone Village and the villagers have returned to their houses.
