NEW ZEALAND – New Zealand Government will not allow the Myanmar junta officers who will be in the ASEAN delegation to visit New Zealand, said the regional source.
New Zealand proceeds against the junta council’s human rights violations. But they allowed the Myanmar representatives to attend the trading ceremony by committing the allowances in early May.
In bilateral relations, New Zealand has limited the Myanmar military council, condemned the actions of them and relations with high-level political leaders have been suspended.
After the coup, New Zealand supported US dollars over 31 million for Myanmar as humanitarian aid but it didn’t go through the junta council.
New Zealand Government just considers and decides on each case regarding Myanmar.
