MAGWAY DIVISION – Natmauk People’s Defence Force (NPDF) stated that they arrested a car on its way back after transporting junta soldiers, warned the driver and attendant, and then released them in Natmauk Township.
The car that transported junta soldiers to eastern Natmauk was reportedly arrested by the PDF at around 7 a.m. on March 11. The car was said to have transported around 30 junta soldiers from the Ywarmon Main Arsenal Depot in Natmauk.
“We released them because it was a civilian vehicle. We told them to avoid the junta council as much as possible and warned that we will take action if they commit a similar action,” said information officer Sie of NPDF.
He added that the car was a civilian-owned bus under Natmauk Township Military Veterans Transport Cooperation and was drafted by the junta council.
The junta council has launched offensives in Natmauk starting February 23 and there have been frequent battles against the local defence forces.
Recently on March 2 at around 3:30 p.m., NPDF attacked around 25 junta forces that came out of Ywarmon Main Arsenal Depot in Natmauk, killing two junta soldiers.
