The murderous junta forces stationed at Thea Pon Taung fired around 10 artillery shells starting from 7:00 a.m., while their column was penetrating into Tha Bawt Seik and Pyin Gyi villages.
The villagers had been forced to run away from their homes before the attacks, so no one was hurt when the artillery landed in the village, but some houses were slightly damaged.
On the morning of May 26, that junta column captured some Karen ethnic people and were heading to Pa Nyit Village, but it is not yet known where they continued to leave.
