SHAN STATE – Successfully capturing the towns as well as military and police bases from the junta council, the Palaung State Liberation Front / Ta’ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA) held a completion ceremony for basic police training course and general administration training course.
The completion ceremony for Batch 4 of basic police training and Batch 8 of general administration training by the PSLF/TNLA was reportedly held together on December 24.
The head of the administration department, Colonel Tah Gu Zah, joint secretary 2 Lieutenant Colonel Tah Pan La and responsible officers attended the ceremony.
Lieutenant Colonel Tah Pan La delivered the congratulatory speech, reminding the graduates to administer, without racial bias, the wellbeing and safety of the people’s lives and properties.
The joint secretary 2 also reminded that the office procedures need to be quick and timely.
TNLA informed that the training was conducted to increase efficiency of police procedures, promote systematic work according to police rules, raise human resources that can lead the administration procedures according to the law and increase efficiency of office procedures.
The training period lasted for six months and the basic police training had 38 trainees while the general administration training had 48 trainees who completed the training.
It is also informed that this was the fourth batch of basic police training and the eighth batch of general administration training, and that a total of 166 police trainees and over 200 general administration trainees have completed the training.
The graduating trainees will reportedly be assigned official positions in the administration and rule of law sectors as well as the general administration offices at the villages, wards, townships and districts of Ta’ang State.
TNLA has been taking part in Operation 1027 against the junta regime, and has successfully captured over 60 junta bases in northern Shan State and seized control of Manton, Nhamsan, Namkhan and Mailon Towns as of December 25.
