BAGO DIVISION – Four civilians from Yay Phyu Kan Village of Nyaung Lay Pin Township were wounded by shrapnels of heavy artilleries fired by terrorist junta forces, local defence forces reported.
Junta’s light battalion (20) based in Nyaung Lay Pin Town fired heavy weapons towards the villages at about 10 p.m. on October 30, and one of them dropped and exploded in Yay Phyu Kan Village.
“Junta army was shooting heavy weapon frequently. These days it is getting worse. They are firing almost every night. Last time, they fired every other day,” said a member of the local defence force based in Nyaung Lay Pin.
Because of the artillery shelling by junta army, Left elbow of Mr. Yan Win, the right leg of Ms. Khin Moe Wai (28), leg of a child, Min Khant Zaw (1 and a half years old) were injured and Yoon Yoon (3) was injured in her right leg.
Ms. Khin Moe Wai and Min Khant Zaw are mother and son, and the other two are neighbours, and locals residents sent all of them to public hospital of Nyaung Lay Pin Township.
Similarly on October 18 at 12 noon, the junta’s battalion (20) fired heavy weapons while they were stationing in Pazon Myaung Village, and the weapons fell onto the main road of Mingalar gone Village, resulted injuring a child (13) and a woman (38) by the weapon.
According to the report, twelve civilians of Nyaung Lay Pin Township were injured by the heavy artillery shelling by atrocious military council in October.
