MON STATE – On May 9, Albino Tiger column announced that 3 comrades were killed due to the junta council’s aerial attack on the camp of the military division of Albino Tiger Column 2 between Yay and Thanbyuzayat.
“On May 7, around 11 p.m., a fighter jet dropped two 500-pounds bombs. 2 male comrades Zwe Man Lin (a) Sanay, Tun Lin Aung (a) Mya Gyi and a female comrade Khin Thandar Swe (a) Ma Myint from Albino Tiger Company 1 fell due to serious injuries. Of the remaining 4 comrades, 2 were hit on the head. Another got injured on both legs. The other one was bruised and hit on the thighs and legs,” the news and information officer of AlbinoTiger Column said.
Moreover, on May 8 around noon, while preparing to bury the 3 comrades, the junta council came and attacked with a Mi-35 helicopter.
The lives of 3 soldiers fallen in the battle to end the military dictatorship is a great lost that can’t be substituted. The Albino Tiger column showed their deepest condolences to families and promised to fight until the end of military dictatorship on behalves of fallen comrades.
On April 25, the Albino Tiger Company under Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) Brigade 6 joined forces with Taung Nyo Column and attacked junta troops in Pein hnae taw village, Thanbyuzayat Township. It was reported that 8 soldiers were killed and 7 wounded from junta side.
