KAREN STATE – On March 1, the KNU 5th Brigade issued warnings to the public not to obey and circumvent the Terrorist War Council’s conscription law.
The junta council led by Min Aung Hlaing, who usurped the country’s power by force, is creating a civil war to prolong its misery. Currently, the KNU 5th Brigade has announced that people will be forcibly recruited to fight.
To oppose the conscription law of the Terrorist War Council, KNU also issued notices and warnings for people to know and avoid.
It is informed to all the citizens of the cities and villages in the Mutaraw district should oppose the military council’s conscription law, which will support and encourage the terrorist soldiers who will be recruited by the junta council. Do not enter at all. Residents of the city have been informed to flee to nearby villages if they face coercion.
In addition, submit a specific list of names to receive guidance and assistance from the relevant officials in the sheltered villages. In the event of a forced or difficult situation, immediately inform the officials of the nearest front-line area. It is warned that, despite knowing the statements and not following them, anyone acts and follows the actions of the military council will be considered a member of the junta council.
